The evidence of the Matriarch's existence was discovered in the trader's voice file ever since Killing Floor 2 was released in Early Access. Matriarch was originally thought to be Kevin Clamely's wife but it was revealed to be his daughter Rachel. Matriarch is the first female boss in the Killing Floor series. If the cannon is destroyed, she will gain a grappling attack similar to the Patriarch's with her oversized left hand, will move faster, and begin using the claws on her right arm to damage you. Throughout the fight, the only ZEDs that will attack the player are the E.D.A.R. Upon destruction of the face guard, she will take more damage from that area. Additionally, Scrakes take 6 seconds to bleed out after being decapitated, instead of the standard 5.Ī Scrake serves as the boss of Farmhouse, the first stage in Killing Floor: Incursion.The Matriarch pilots a giant mech suit with 2 destroyable parts, the face guard, and the cannon on her left arm. However, they lose the ability to block once enraged.Īttacks that hit the chainsaw deal 80% less damage. Scrakes can also block in Killing Floor 2, reducing all damage taken by 10%. Once enraged, a Scrake never calms down again. While raging, it is capable of damage other zeds that get in it's way. Once their health drops to a certain percentage (varies by Difficulty), a Scrake will rage and begin rushing madly after players. 
In the first Killing Floor, their outfits more resembled that of a doctor, while in Killing Floor 2 they look more like butchers.
They are noticeable for being large, hulking monstrosities who wear masks and have a chainsaw in place of their right arm.
It is one of the biggest threats outside of Bosses, along with the Fleshpound. The Scrake is a giant specimen that appears in all Killing Floor games.
